Ways to Support

Funding & Donations

Funding: Primary funding for the museum continues to be admission fees, donations, membership fees, and support from the museum directors. The IRS recognizes the Museum as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Donations to the Museum may be treated as tax deductible.

We accept online donations

Fort Tuthill Military Museum now accepts credit card donations via PayPal's ® trusted online payment system. Make a one-time donation or choose a recurring payment to help throughout the year. Thank you for your support!

We now have our own GoFundMe campaign. Please visit us to follow our journey on GoFundMe.

Artifact donation: In addition to monetary donations we ask that individuals or families who may have military uniforms, artifacts, weapons, and related items consider donating the items to the museum. Since opening in 2005 we have received numerous donations which are now part of museum exhibits. Before discarding the old uniform, or other military artifacts found in an attic, or garage give us a call. We will see they are preserved and ultimately displayed as a part of Museum exhibits.

Volunteer Staff: Have some time on your hands and an interest in preserving military history? The Museum badly needs additional volunteer staff. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule. There is currently staff sufficient to open only on weekends and occasional half days during the week. We would like to have staff sufficient to open seven days a week.

Special Events: We are always looking for owners of military vehicles, uniforms, and weapons interested in displaying their items during museum events. Should you have an interest in assisting with special displays please contact us.
