IN MEMORIAM - Ken O’Dell

Ken O’Dell, one of the museum’s original volunteers, passed away on February 10th. Ken was best known for his “metal detector assisted” search of the former regimental training ranges at Fort Tuthill and the collection of expended ordnance associated with Fort Tuthill history. Ken was also the resident maintenance man tasked with maintaining our very old original location.

Although in failing health the past several years, Ken was always available to assist with museum events and work associated with the renovation of our new location. Those who knew Ken lost a friend. The Museum lost a great supporter and remarkable volunteer. Ken’s family has advised he wished donations in his memory made to support the museum.
